Anthurium Pest
Anthurium Whitefly
The anthurium whitefly, Aleurotulus anthuricola
(Nakahara), is endemic to Colombia and several
islands in the lesser Antilles and appears host specific to
anthuriums. Although the anthurium whitefly causes no obvious
physical injury to anthuriums, its presence is a quarantine
problem for flowers that are exported from Hawai'i to the United
States and other uninfested areas of the world.
