Maranta (Leuconeura)

Common names:
Prayer plant
Rabbits tracks
Low bushy habit, spotting turns to a dark green as it ages.

At night the leaves will fold to conserve moisture.
If the leaves fold at night and reopen during the day it is receiving suffiecient light.

Likes filtered light, high humidity, warm temperatures, lots of water.

May die back for a period after blooming. Keep up regular care of plant and it will start to grow again.

Fertilize on a regular schedule.

Stem cuttings or plant division.
